Carnahan Insurance was built on a belief that got its start in an unlikely place – a car lot in Texas. Our founder, Jerry Carnahan, got his insurance license to serve car buyers who needed coverage, and quickly discovered something the big carriers have never figured out: people deserve to know exactly what they are and are not protected from. That conviction turned a side credential into a calling, and Carnahan Insurance has been built around it ever since.

We are not the agency that hands you a policy and moves on. We are the agency that sits with you, walks through your coverage line by line, and makes sure you actually understand what you have – and what you don’t. In a market crowded with slick ads and low-cost policies that fall apart when you need them most, we believe thorough is always better than fast. Our clients are not looking for the cheapest option. They are looking for someone who treats their coverage like it matters, because it does.

We work with personal lines clients and small commercial accounts across Texas, with a particular focus on people who have been underserved by their previous agent or carrier.
